What do I need to do to be able to bid on a bird? Firstly you need to register, it is a short process taking only 2 minutes of your time and you only need to do so once. Once registration is complete you are free to make use of any one of two methods of bidding. You may e-mail us at

, stipulating the ring number or name of the bird you wish to bid on as well as the amount of your bid. Secondly, you may phone us on 083-234-5858.
Please note that when the auction is nearing the end it would be wise to rather phone your bid through as e-mail communication might not always come through on time, so do not wait untill the last minute.
What is the minimum bid increase? Up to R2,000 the minimum bid increase is R100 Between R2,000 & R5,000 the minimum bid increase is R200 Between R5,000 & R10,000 the minimum bid increase is R500 Any bids exceeding R10,000 have a minimum bid increase of R1,000
How does the Auction Prolongment work? If a bid is received within the last 15 minutes prior to the auction ending the closing time for that particular bird will be extended by 15 minutes, until 15 minutes have passed without a bid being placed.
How does the shipment of the bird and the cost work? Depending on where the pigeon is situated it can be collected directly from the seller or it will be shipped to the buyer by any means available by the seller. Transport costs will be for the buyers account.
Payment? Once you have successfully won a bid on a pigeon you will be contacted by e-mail or phone within 24 hours to arrange payment of your purchase. No pigeons will be released by the sellers or us until such time as the money is reflected in our bank account.
Once buyer has received the bird payment will be made from us to the seller.
This way both parties are protected.
What are Buying Orders?
Buying Orders are when you place a bid and give instruction to us to continue bidding on your behalf up to a specified amount, this helps in cases where the buyer is not able to check on the birds bidding regularly.
Any buying orders are kept confidential and is only known by the fancier placing the buying order and the person receiving the e-mail.
If a bid is received equivalent to the buying order amount the buying order will receive the default bid as it was placed first.
